What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We keep their use to a minimum.

Cookies we set

• cbsess — an essential session cookie that keeps you signed in, remembers your language choice and protects forms against cross-site request forgery. It expires when you close your browser or sign out. This cookie is strictly necessary and does not need consent.

We do not use advertising cookies. [If you add product analytics, list the cookie names, purposes and durations here and ask for consent where required.]

Church websites

Each church decides what runs on its own website. If a church adds Google Analytics under its website settings, Google may set analytics cookies on that church's site. Embedded content such as YouTube videos, Facebook videos and Google Maps may set cookies from those services when you view it. Churches should describe these in their own privacy notice.

Payment pages

When you give or pay, the payment provider (for example Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe or PayPal) may set cookies needed for secure checkout and fraud prevention.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies you will not be able to sign in or submit forms.
