Build and publish your church website
Choose a theme, edit ready-made pages section by section, check the preview and publish.
Every church starts with ready-made pages: Home, About us, Our beliefs, Leadership, Ministries, Plan your visit, Contact and a privacy notice. Your website stays unpublished until you are ready.
1. Choose a theme
Go to Website → Theme & branding. Pick Classic, Modern or Minimal, then adjust your brand colour, fonts and button shape. The live preview updates as you choose.
2. Edit your pages
Open Website and click a page. Each page is made of sections — a hero banner, service times, cards, a contact form and so on.
- Click Edit on a section to change its text, images and buttons.
- Use the arrows to move sections up or down, and the menu to duplicate, hide or delete them.
- Use Add a section to add new blocks, including live blocks from your other features such as upcoming events or the latest sermons.
Look for text marked [Replace …] — the overview page lists every page that still contains it.
3. Images
Upload photos under Website → Media, or directly in any image field. Add a short description to each image for people using screen readers. Real photos of your church family make the biggest difference.
4. Menu, SEO and social links
Arrange your menu under Navigation, including dropdowns and links to your giving, events and sermon pages. Add your social media links and a default description under SEO & social.
5. Publish
On the Website overview, click Publish website. Until then visitors see a simple page with your address and links. Want your own web address? See Connect your own domain.
Messages from your contact and plan-a-visit forms arrive in Website → Inbox and by email.
