Invite your team and choose their roles
Give pastors, finance officers, follow-up teams and group leaders their own logins with exactly the access they need.
Everyone who helps run your church should have their own login. It keeps your data safe and your activity log meaningful.
Invite someone
- Go to Settings → Team & access.
- Enter their email address and choose a role.
- Optionally limit them to one branch — they will only see people and records from that branch and the branches under it.
- They receive an email invitation to set their password.
Built-in roles
- Owner — everything, including billing and closing the account.
- Administrator — everything except billing and closing the account.
- Pastor — people, follow-up, care, groups, events and media; can see finances but not change them.
- Finance officer — giving, accounting, remittances and financial reports.
- Communications — messages, website, media, events and the member app.
- Follow-up team — welcomes and follows up first-timers and new converts.
- Data entry — records people and attendance.
- Cell / group leader — sees their groups and submits meeting reports.
- Volunteer coordinator — teams, rotas and service plans.
- Read-only — can look but not change anything.
Custom roles
Need something different? Create your own role under Settings → Roles and tick exactly the permissions it should have.
Good practice
- Give people the smallest role that lets them do their job.
- Remove access promptly when someone steps down.
- Ask every admin to turn on two-factor sign-in.
