Connect online giving (Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe or PayPal)

Connect your church’s own payment account so members can give online in your currency.

Online gifts go straight into your church's own account with your payment provider. ChurchBright does not hold your money.

Which provider?

  • Paystack — cards, bank transfer, USSD, QR and mobile money (for example NGN, GHS, ZAR, KES).
  • Flutterwave — cards, bank transfer, USSD and mobile money across many African currencies, plus USD, GBP, EUR and CAD.
  • Stripe — cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay in many currencies, including GBP, EUR, USD and CAD.
  • PayPal — PayPal balance and cards in major currencies.

You can connect more than one — for example Paystack for naira and Stripe for pounds.

Connect

  1. Open an account with the provider in your church's legal name and complete their verification.
  2. In ChurchBright go to Settings → Online payments and choose the provider.
  3. Paste your public and secret keys from the provider's dashboard. Secret keys are encrypted when saved.
  4. Start in test mode and make a test gift, then switch to live.

Share your giving page

Your church's giving page is at your website address followed by /give. Add a Give button to your website menu, show the QR code during the offering and share the link on WhatsApp.

Keep keys private

Never share your secret key by email or chat. If you think it has been exposed, create a new one in the provider's dashboard and update it in ChurchBright.
